Muvi, the Wine Museum, was opened May 16, 2015 and was founded with the aim of offering a testimony of the wine heritage of the area through a fascinating journey into the world of wine and its history.The idea that led to the creation of this museum was linked to the need to create an original business card that would allow to present, who was visiting the Euganean Hills, the peculiarities of a single territory, where the vocation for Wine growing is almost the yearning of the earth. Awareness of an immense cultural background, represented by a precious and unknown past also to the inhabitants of the area, has provided a new mission for the Muvi. In fact, the Museum now has two purposes: for strangers intends to publicize and make the most of the Euganean Hills; for locals instead, it intends to become cause for encouragement to know in depth the roots and appreciate the uniqueness and wonder of the place where you live. Located at the seat of the Consorzio Tutela Vini Colli Euganei, the museum is divided into 24 thematic areas and consists of information panels and objects that, following a historical chronology allow to discover curious and unusual aspects of vitivinicola.The focus is on the characteristics and peculiarities of the volcanic Euganean Hills and those of wines produced in this area.
