The estate in Piavon was taken over by Friedrich Rechsteiner from the Counts Revedin in 1881. So began the history of the agriculture and wine estate that to this day is run by the direct descendant of the founder: Florian von Stepski-Doliwa, great grandson of the younger daughter of Friedrich, who herself was married to a Stepski. With respect for tradition but also with the aid of modern technologies the wine estate currently produces wine using grapes originating exclusively from our 50 hectares own vineyards.
