BIBENDA 2013 - The Book Guide to the Best Wines and Restaurants of Italy: La Luna del Casale in the prestigious guide by AIS

09/11/2012 It is with great pleasure that we announce that La Luna del Casale is present in the 2013 edition of "Bibenda - Il Libro Guida ai Migliori Vini e Ristoranti d'Italia" ("Bibenda - The Book Guide to the Best Wines and Restaurants of Italy"). This is the famous and prestigious guide by AIS (Italian Sommelier Association), which until 2012 had the title "Duemila vini - Il Libro Guida ai Vini d'Italia" ("Two thousand wines - The Book Guide to the Wines of Italy") and for year 2013 changed its name to include the best restaurants.

On the pages of this guide you will find the sensory analysis of six of our wines, made with AIS method and school, and the score given in bunches of grapes.

Almanac 2011, Alexander 2010 and 2011 Sara got 4 bunches, corresponding to a score of 85 to 90 cents, equivalent to the judgment: 'Wines of high level quality and strong', while Full Moon 2010, Meridies Rosé Brut 2010 and 2011 have obtained 3 clusters, corresponding to a score of 80 to 84 cents, 'wine of good quality and fine detail.'

Colli Lanuvini Superiore Lunario 2011

Green gold. Floral olfactory bouquet of jasmine and lilac, in which a fresh fruity plot of peach and pineapple enters, a slight mineral nod in the finish. Soft but lively in flavor and freshness, persistent on fruit notes. 6 months on yeasts in stainless steel. Veal with tuna sauce.


Alessandro 2010

Purple or ruby background. Sweet scents of sour cherry jam, and red roses, light nuances of tobacco and plants of rue. Structure in good balance between softness and tannins, good persistence on the calls of jam. Polenta (maize porridge) with pork ribs.

 

Sara 2011

Bright gold. Fruity personality of plums, floral of yellow rose and magnolia, pleasant vanilla puffs. Soft in the mouth, discreet persistence on pleasant toasty notes. Steel and tonneau. Pork loin with milk.


Plenilunio 2010

Purple. Outstanding notes of red rose and blackberry jam with a slight puff of brine. Dominated by a eager tannin taste and good freshness. 6 months on the yeasts in stainless steel. Coda alla Vaccinara (Oxtail).


Meridies 2010

Dense purple. Offers sweet notes of plum jam with herbaceous puffs of rue, and floral potpourri. Fresh character and immediately tannic, with slightly tasty and fruity finish. Six months in stainless steel. Stew.


Rosé Brut 2011

Pale pink. Nose reminiscent of red berries, currant, wild strawberry and floral touches of freesia. Pungent perlage, which consistently returns the fruity scents. 3 months in steel. Tomatoes stuffed with rice.
