Lunario 2011 Colli Lanuvini Superiore DOP

A DOP from Castelli Romani that often suffered the greater awareness of other types in the area but, in this case, regains its proper weight. A wine of a bright yellow gold with flashes of green. To the nose it is intense and has a nice blend of floral notes and Mineral ones. Acacia, mimosa and hawthorn, then shale and chert that blend with the fruit of apple, peach, mulberry and banana, while alfalfa and sage refresh the ensemble binding together in recognitions of cedar, also in syrup. and in the finish medlar is felt.

On the palate the wine is soft, fresh, tasty, medium-bodied, with good continuity, able to bring a crisp and fleshy fruit, that in the finish, pleasantly vibrant and welcoming, merges with typical hints of fresh almonds.

Happy coupling with white spaghetti with mussels and clams.
