Debuting at Vinitaly, 47 Movimento Turismo Vino wine tourism packages and #bevicosavedi photo contest underway on Instagram

Catchphrase: wine tourism. At Vinitaly, Movimento Turismo del Vino presents its first tour packages in view of Expo 2015 and Open Cellars with the launch of a national photographic challenge, set from March 22 to July 22, in collaboration with the Instagramers Italia community. A snapshot challenge for Igers on the quest to #bevicosavedi, drink what you see, to capture Italian wine and the beauty of Italian landscapes, monuments, squares, vineyards and cellars.

In fact, during the year of the World’s Fair, Movimento Turismo del Vino is not only planning on promoting wine directly in territories of production, but also launching wine tourism as a “global” experience and an opportunity to discover the stories behind the stars of the show, the beauty of the countryside and the artistic patrimony of our country, all through the leitmotif of wine.

And it is precisely in view of Expo 2015 and Open Cellars that the MTV wineries have chosen to promote their own wine tourism packages at the international wine exposition in Verona. From a tour through the Salento on electric bikes to a Winebus in Lombardy, from discovering the Verdicchio territory and the Rosso Conero in the Marche region to a stay among the green hills of Umbria, there are 48 Movimento Turismo del Vino tour packages created to discover Made in Italy enology amidst art, nature and food. A philosophy that is in line with a increasing quality and professionalism in hospitality on the part of MTV producers, in order to reach the three million Italian wine tourists that generate 4-5 million euros of business a year.

At Vinitaly, Movimento Turismo del Vino calls the Instagram tribe to its first photo contest: #bevicosavedi, the hashtag to participate in the contest, chosen by MTV also to launch its new theme, “Bevi cosa vedi e vedi cosa bevi” – Drink what you see and see what you drink – that will accompany the 2015 events by the association and that represents the next evolution of the historical “Vedi cosa bevi” motto. The contest will officially get underway on Sunday, March 22 at 12:30 p.m. with an Instagramer meetup at the MTV stand (Centro Servizi delle Erbe – desk 9) with Movimento Turismo del Vino President, Daniela Mastroberardino, in addition to Instragramers Italia president, Ilaria Barbotti in attendance among others including members of Igers Toscana, Verona, Veneto, Marche and Umbria
