Cantine Aperte 2015 in Friuli Venezia Giulia: top event for wine lovers in over 60 regional wineries (Saturday, May 30 and Sunday, May 31)

30/05/2015 From Saturday, May 30 to Sunday, May 31, there are numerous initiatives organized in wineries where it will be possible to visit art exhibits, take in concerts, participate in cultural initiatives and taste typical regional delicacies

Cantine Aperte is the biggest wine event in Italy that has been taking place since 1993 throughout the national territory. On the last Sunday in May, member wineries of Movimento Turismo del Vino open their own doors to wine lovers, connoisseurs and curious. Year after year, Open Cellars has been evolving into an event that is able to attract an increasing number of wine tourists, and, given the success of the 2014 edition, Open Cellars 2015 promises to be even richer in surprises and side events. In addition to being able to taste the best Italian wines and purchase them directly at the wineries by participating in specific tastings, Open Cellars gives you the opportunity to have direct contact with the fascinating world of Italian winemaking discovering all the secrets in the production process.

Over the weekend in Friuli Venezia Giulia, it will be possible to taste excellent regional wines, learn about vinification techniques, but, most of all, have direct contact with the history of the winemakers whose patient work has always brought life to one of the best territories in Italian winemaking – a territory to be discovered and tasted.

These events are not to be missed: “Dinner with the Winemaker” and “Piatto Cantine Aperte” in collaboration with Strade del Vino and Sapori Friuli Venezia Giulia.

Movimento Turismo del Vino ALWAYS recommends verifying the dates and times of Cantine Aperte-Open Cellars 2015!
