CIBUS 2014 is brimming with new initiatives which, at the 17th edition in Parma from May 5 to 8, 2014, opens to the world of wine and sparkling wine with Cibus Bollicine and gets even more in touch with the city in a sort of salon in the streets of Parma called Cibusland.

The importance of the issues in retail has brought the organizers of CIBUS, Parma Exhibitions and Federalimentare (the confederation of Italian food industry), to give them ample space at CIBUS 2014, which will be held in Parma from May 5 to 8, 2014. Especially relevant to these topics will be the workshop about the promotional leverage in the field of distribution organized by the University of Parma and Nielsen.

Backed by the numbers of the previous edition (2,300 exhibitors, 63,000 professional visitors, 120,000 square meters of exhibition space), CIBUS 2014 will be divided into categories by product in the following sectors: Chilled, Dairy, Deli, Cold, Meat, Frozen, Grocery and Confectionary, International, Typical and Regional, Beverages, Nutrition and Supplement Planet.

There are numerous events and special initiatives: Alma Caseus the competition organized by the ALMA School of Cuisine for dairy products and professionals, MicroMalto featuring craft beer, CibusBio featuring Italian organic products, FreeFrom to promote gluten, yeast and lactose free products, CibusFrozen presenting the market of frozen and ready meals in addition to StoreBrand in collaboration with the University of Parma to analyze branding distribution.
