Harvest Time Open Cellars in Ca' Lustra: October 7, 2018 - Sunday in the Euganean Hills

On October 7, 2018 Harvest Time Open Cellars is back at Ca' Lustra winery, from 10.30am to 7pm.
We chose to celebrate with you the end of the harvest season with some original proposals. At Ca' Lustra you will find:
TASTING OF CA' LUSTRA – ZANOVELLO WINES
From 10.30am the tasting of all Ca' Lustra – Zanovello wines will be offered to you. You can purchase a glass wine with pouch for 8 euros, booking not required.
GASTRONOMIC PROPOSALS
From 11am to 7pm Leopoldo Tramarin will delight us with a selection of particular cheese and cold cuts from Veneto.Leopoldo is a Master of cheese since many years. He will surprise us with a special selection of cheese: on September 29-30 he will attend “Caseus Veneti” at Piazzola sul Brenta (PD). It is the most important regional cheese competiotion, where he always chooses some new products to propose.
You will find also artigianal bread and buns made by Vincenzo Miano (Bio Forno in Valsanzibio), baker that works in a very traditional way using only wholegrain flour.
Gastronomic proposals will be available at Leopoldo's desk.
GUIDED TASTING at 5pm
Volcanic emotions and cheese matured in caves
Franco Zanovello and Leopoldo Tramarin will lead you into a tasting of volcanic wines from different regions paired with different cheese that matured in caves...plus some surprises.

Pinello rifermented in the bottle 2017 – Ca’ Lustra-Zanovello (Colli Euganei – Veneto)
“Nestor” Greco di Tufo 2017 – Tenuta Cavalier Pepe (Irpinia – Campania)
Riesling Renano 2017 – Gilvesy (Nord Balaton – Ungheria)
“Vulcaia Fumé” Sauvignon 2017 – Inama (Soave – Veneto)
Piedirosso of Vesuvio 2017 – De Falco (Vesuvio – Campania)
“Natìo” Colli Euganei Rosso 2009 – Ca’ Lustra-Zanovello (Colli Euganei – Veneto)
Booking is required, limited seats.
10 euros per person.
GUIDED VISITS IN THE VINEYARDS AND IN THE CELLAR
From 10.30am to 11.30am guided visits to the vineyards will be possible.
Throughout the day guided visits in the cellar will be possible (6-8 people minimum).
Visits are free and, if appreciated, it will be possible to taste a white and/or a red wine from the just passed harvest.
WINE SHOP
The wine shop will be open all day long for your purchases. As usual, and only for the Open Cellars day, we will offer special discounts: 10% for 6 bottles of different wines, 15% for an entire box of a single wine.
