16/05/2011

'Cantine Aperte in Feltrinelli' is the winetour to be held in the Feltrinelli bookshops throughout Italy presenting Cantine Aperte, the most important Italian wine event scheduled for Sunday 29th May. In Puglia the appointment will be in Bari on Wednesday 18th May at 6.30 p.m. at the bookshop in via Melo 119.

Librerie Feltrinelli is the leading retailer of Italian culture with 104 stores spread in all Italian regions and which organized in 2010 more than 3,000 cultural events and presentation of books and guides dedicated to the wine & food world.

The co-protagonist, along with the Movimento Turismo del Vino and Feltrinelli, is Gribaudo Gusto, the historic food and wine publishing house acquired, a little less than two years ago, by the Feltrinelli group and A Tavola, the monthly magazine of great Italian cuisine that will participate as media partner.

The presentation of the rich programme – guided tours of the wineries, art exhibitions, wine tastings, music and theatre performaces – will be followed by a wine tasting paired with genuine and typical baked products. All the epicureans will discover more about the typical regional flavours through the initiative Itinerari Enosfiziosi, organized by MTV and 'La Bottega di Olivia&Marino'.

Silvia Godelli, Head of Mediterranean, Tourism and Culture Dpt., Vittoria Cisonno, President of the Movimento Turismo del Vino Puglia and Angela Schena, President of the Associazione Pugliese Editori (Puglian editors association) will be present at the event.

The presentation will be followed by a wine tasting of the associated wineries.
