13/09/2013 Sunday 15th september in Puglia.

'Benvenuta Vendemmia' is back again, a great chance to end the summer by visiting the wineries taking part, meeting the wine-makers and tasting their wines. This year's event in Puglia, created and organised by the Movimento Turismo del Vino Puglia, is on just one day - Sunday 15th September. This fifteenth edition involves only the MTV member wineries and is made possible with the support of the Regione Puglia Agro-Food Resources Office.

Interested visitors and connoisseurs will have free entry to MTV wineries all day, and will find a full programme of guided tours, vineyard walks, wine-tasting, culture and shows. In Puglia wine lovers will have the usual choice of the region's different areas to visit: Teanum wineries in Daunia will be open for this event; in the Castel del Monte area, wine tourists should make sure they visit Rivera at Andria and Torrevento at Corato; other wineries taking part are Crifo at Ruvo di Puglia, Villa Schinosa at Trani, and Albea, set among the splendid trulli at Alberobello. The Salento wineries taking part are Paolo Leo at San Donaci, Leone de Castris at Salice Salentino, Eméra at Guagnano and Trullo di Pezza at Torricella.

Benvenuta Vendemmia also welcomes cyclists, with a choice of wine and nature trails organised by Ruotalibera Bari and Cicloamici Mesagne and Brindisi.
