Cantine Aperte in Vendemmia 2014

14/09/2014 Sunday 14th September in Puglia - 11 MTV Puglia wineries open their doors to visitors.

The wineries once agian open their doors for 'Cantine Aperte a Vendemmia', on Sunday 14th September. The event has a new name this year, but the same formula, dedicated to one of the most fascinating moments of the wine-growing season. An opportunity to spend the last Sunday of summer with family or friends in a visit to one of the participating wineries, to meet the producers and try their wines.

To make the event even more interesting, the wineries will be giving visitors the chance to see the grape harvest, the first grapes arriving in the winery and the first steps in the wine-making process. As usual, the wineries taking part will organise special events like art shows, music and dance performances and typical products to taste.

As usual in Puglia, wine-lovers will have a choice of different territories. Cantine Teanum will be open at San Severo in Daunia; Rivera and Cantina di Andria at Andria are not to be missed in the Castel del Monte area, together with Torrevento at Corato (Ba) and Villa Schinosa at Trani. Magna Grecia will welcome wine-lovers to Produttori Vini Manduria at Manduria (Ta), Trullo di Pezza at Torricella (Ta) and Tenute Eméra at Lizzano (Ta)

Finally the Salento, where the doors will be open to visitors at Due Palme at Cellino San Marco (Br), Cantina Moros at Guagnano (Le) and Leone de Castris at Salice Salentino (Le).
