31/10/2015 Great final in Hamburg, Germany, for the Road Show showcasing the best Puglia wines and EVOs in Rome and Milan in more than 30 wine shops and restaurants all along October.

Puglia's wines and oils remain in the international spotlight. The sixth edition of the Puglia Wine&Land workshop has just ended in Savelletri di Fasano, after a week that saw around twenty buyers and eight journalists converging on the centre of Puglia from around the world to discover and taste wines from the same number of local wineries. And now it's time to fly to Hamburg in Germany, to conclude another of the key events of this hot autumn for Puglia's wine and food, the Puglia Wine & EVO Road Show by the Movimento Turismo del Vino Puglia.

Following an intense month of promotion in thirty selected wine bars and restaurants in Rome and Milan, the sixth edition of the Road Show finishes in style on Friday 30th and Saturday 31st October in one of Germany's most important cities. Hamburg is the country's wine and food centre, and is especially busy at this time of year with shows and events focusing on good food and drink.

Eighteen wineries will be there to tell wine lovers, enthusiasts and experts about the wines from the heel of Italy: La Cantina di Andria - Andria; Carvinea - Carovigno (Br); Castel di Salve - Depressa di Tricase (Le); Conte Onofrio Spagnoletti Zeuli - Andria; Cantine Coppi - Turi (Ba); GRIFO - Ruvo di Puglia (Ba); Felline - Manduria (Ta), Feudi di Guagnano - Guagnano (Le); Menhir - Minervino di Lecce (Le); Mottura - Tuglie (Le); Ognissole - Sava (Ta); Valentina Passalacqua - Apricena (Fg); Produttori Vini Manduria - Manduria (Ta); Rivera - Andria; Teanum - San Severo (Fg); Tor dè Falchi - Minervino Murge (Bt); Torrevento - Corato (Ba); Agricole Vallone - Lecce. Alongside the wines are the extra virgin olive oils of four producers belonging to Buonaterra, the producers' association and partner of the Movimento Turismo dell'Olio: Maria Cristina Bisceglia - Mattinata (Fg); Galantino - Bisceglie (Bt); Azienda Agricola Taurino - Squinzano (Le); Torrerivera - Andria.

Four venues are hosting the event, all in the bustling centre of Hamburg: two restaurants, Brüdigams and Kleinhuis-Hotel Baseler Hof, will present Puglia's wines with a menu of ideal dishes to accompany, while wine-bar Die Weingaleristen will organize wine and oil tasting for a selected group of enthusiasts, experts and special customers. The city's vibrant St. Pauli area never sleeps, and this is where wine-bar TVino will host a special Puglian aperitivo on Saturday 31st October from 2pm to 5 pm, featuring the labels already shown in the Vinotek Puglia at ProWein 2015 in Dusseldorf.

Germany is a crucial export market for Puglia's food industry, especially for the regional sector's two giants - wine, with its most prestigious ambassadors Nero di Troia, Primitivo and Negroamaro, and extra virgin olive oil, increasingly appreciated also for its many proven healthy properties.

The event is organized in partnership with the De.S.A. Deutschland Sommelier Association with funding from the 2007-2013 Rural Development Programme, Measure 133.
