Puglia at Bit 2016 in Milan

Puglia excellences in the fields of food farming, wine-producing and tourism become once again great protagonists at the Bit 2016 (Borsa Internazionale del Turismo), wich will be held from 11th until 13th February 2016 in the exhibition area of Rho Fiera, Milan, where also the Assessorato alle Risorse Agroalimentari-Regione Puglia will be present. Once again the Movimento Turismo del Vino Puglia and the Masserie Didattiche will be the voice of the wine and food tourism, one of the most important cause of the incoming tourism in Puglia.

Wine, tasty local products and the excellent quality of the extra vergine olive oil will be the protagonists during the Bit, in the specifically area denominated 'Food and Wine'. Two the main activities offered by the Movimento Turismo del Vino Puglia and the Masserie Didattiche. Every morning Masserie Didattiche will prepare and offer one delicius regional course during 'Lezioni di cucina', paired with wines by Movimento Turismo del Vino Puglia, tasted and described by a regional wine expert. In the afternoon visitors can join the 'hands-on' workshop 'Lezioni di cucina', challenging themselves in kneading orecchiette, one of the most known specialities of Puglia around the world. For three days, history, taste and Puglia mood will be on guests' hand.

There will also be presentations of tourist routes and wine and food tourist packages, that will explore the region's historical and cultural attractions, its landscapes and agro-food products.
