In the 2014 summer, Apulia and Apulian wines were the main characters of the wine and food journey that delighted the international press. The acknowledgements awarded by the Salentine company Varvaglione Vigne e Vini include an article about quality wines most liked by the free-lance American journalist Deborah Grossman – special guest of the 'Vini di Puglia IV' Press Tour organized by Movimento Turismo del Vino Puglia as part of the CMO 2013-2014 promotion programme.

Her article is a detailed travel diary about the discovery of wines that most delighted her palate. The excellent wines honorably mentioned in her article include the '12 e mezzo – Rosato del Salento IGP' rosé wine. Originating from the Negroamaro del Salento variety, it is one of the new products by Varvaglione Vigne e Vini, launched in the same summer.

Hence, the Salentine winery is proud of the great success carried by this wine in short time. It has now achieved the same well-known national and international reputation as all other wines by Varvaglione Vigne e Vini.
