Friuli-Venezia Giulia

Puglia

  • A Toast to Brindisi

The trip starts in Ostuni (Brindisi Province), a splendid white city. Along the road from Fasano toOstuni there are some lovely views of centuries-old olive trees surrounding the typical local farmsteads.
  • CAPITANATA WELCOMES VISITORS

Start in Lucera (Foggia Province). Visit the warmly Romanesque old city with its imposing castle - built by Frederick II – and tour the Cacc'e Mmitte di Lucera wineries, where you can taste wines from a Doc which has recently been re-evaluated.
  • DISCOVER THE TREASURES OF DAUNIA

Start in San Severo (Foggia Province), the nerve centre for innovation and enhancement of the local wine-making tradition: San Severo Doc, created in 1968, is the oldest Doc wine in Puglia
  • The land of Federico II

Our journey begins in Canosa di Puglia (Barletta-Andria-Trani Province). This is the starting-point for a trip into the Upper Murgia area, one of the oldest wine-growing lands in Puglia, where some of the Region’s loveliest wineries welcome visitors all year round.
  • THE LIMESTONE MURGIA AND ITRIA VALLEY.

This trip into the white wine areas of Puglia begins in Gravina in Puglia (Bari Province), and moves from the Gravina Doc territory to the Itria Valley vineyards, which produce the Locorotondo and Martina Franca Doc wines.
  • The Primitivo Vineyards

The starting point is Mottola (Taranto Province), known as the “Ionian Viewing Point” or the“Balcony of Southern Puglia” because of its height above sea-level and privileged location: it is possible to see the Gulf of Taranto and the green mountains of Calabria’s Sila region.
