THE WINES OF THE SAVUTO VALLEY AND LAMEZIA AREA

Day 1 Arrival at Lamezia T. airport; Check in at booked hotel; Meeting with the guide; welcome dinner.

Day 2 Breakfast; Transfer to Vineyard Statti ,which produces excellent wines and olive oil; at Lunch, typical food and wine tasting; in the afternoon visit of Pizzo, famous for its delicious ice cream, specially Tartufo; walking tour of the little town, visit of the castle, which hosted the process of Gioacchino Murat;
Return to hotel for dinner.

Day 3 Breakfast; Transfer to Rogliano to visit its many churches and enjoing wine and typical products tasting; in the afternoon , visit of Cosenza hystorical city centre, considered one of the most important in southern Italy; walking tour in Corso Mazzini to see its precious open air museum, which hosts works of some of the most important artists, like Dalì, De Chirico, Rotella.
Return to hotel and dinner.

Day 4 Breakfast; Transfer to Motta S. Lucia and visit of the rural village and the Hannibal bridge on the Savuto river, testimony of the passage of the African conductor; visit of the vineyard Le Moire and its terraces on the banks of the river, where the Chirillo family will let you taste its most important wine, Annibale; in the afternoon, tour of the characteristic villages and seaside resorts on the Tyrrhenian sea;
Return to hotel and dinner.

Day 5 Breakfast; departure for a trip to Sila Piccola, a mountain area known for the tasty Porcini mushrooms; Lunch with traditional local food; in the afternoon , excursion in the Sila Natural Park;
Return to hotel and dinner.

Day 6: Breakfast; transfer to Lamezia T. airport
