Lakes of Monticchio: Walking along the banks of the two lakes of volcanic origin set in Monte Vulture, you can visit the remains of the Church of Sant'Ippolito (10th century) and the suggestive Abbey of San Michele, guardian of the precious Grotta dell'Angelo dedicated to San Michele Arcangelo (11th century)

San Fele waterfalls: Discover the charm of the village of San Fele and the waterfalls created along the Bradano stream. You will be fascinated by their forms of intensity of their perpetual gait. Along the way through nature, you will sometimes encounter ancient mills and ancient bridges once used by wool weavers.

Melfi: Deeply marked by Frederick II (king who preferred books and culture to the sword, able to create a bridge between East and West), Melfi still preserves the treasures, history and legends of this charismatic sovereign. From the imposing silhouette of the Castle, the streets of the old town center wind through the mighty medieval walls; from Porta Venosina, to the Cathedral commissioned by Riccardo I il Guiscardo up to the Crypt of Santa Margherita.

Barile: Country of Arbreshe origin, still preserves important signs of Byzantine culture (suggestive is the representation of the Via Crucis on Good Friday). Chosen by Pasolini as his Bethlehem for the film "Vangelo Secondo Matteo", the caves dug in the volcanic tuff of the "Via delle Cantine" were the first inhabited settlement in the area, and later became wine cellars.

Ripacandida: In a panoramic position with respect to Monte Vulture, it is establishing itself for a valuable production of honey. The church of San Donato was also renamed the "Little Assisi" for the vault with a single nave completely frescoed with scenes from the old and new testament (XV century). Also worth visiting is the Garden of San Francesco, a labyrinth of centuries-old trees of extraordinary beauty.

Venosa: The village is undoubtedly linked to the great Roman poet Orazio Flacco, but its origins date back to the III century. they leave traces in the territory of the Samnite, Norman, Benedictine, Angevin and Bourbon populations. To visit the Castle of Pirro del Balzo, the Romanesque Fountain and the important Archaeological Park from the Roman era with the suggestive Church of the Unfinished.

Acerenza: Considered one of the most beautiful towns in Italy, Acerenza is located on a plateau at 863 meters above sea level. The outline of its majestic cathedral is one of the most important symbols, dedicated to the Santa Maria Assunto and San Canio Vescovo, it holds legends and mysteries related to the Templars, the Slavic prince Vlad III and the miraculous stick of San Canio.
