15/09/2022 Merlot, Pinot Bianco, “Romandus” red vermouth
The Merlot project is the first wine of Dario Coos S.r.l. to enter the new black label line. This new line of products, six in all, wants to dare a new look to wines that our company can particularly do for the attention and care we dedicate to them with aging in the cellar. This product was conceived starting from 2018 to celebrate the vine that best interprets the vintage with all its merits. Our Merlot has a maturation of 36 months in French oak barriques, which gives it a great olfactory complexity and gustatory roundness, without altering its original aromatic profile but undoing its structure. A work of art of nature to which to allocate a limited edition in 0.75 liter and magnum format.
The Pinot Bianco project comes to life from the vine of the same name. The grapes, after the harvest, are gently pressed, and the alcoholic fermentation takes place in steel tanks at a controlled temperature, followed by the malolactic fermentation.
The aging always takes place in steel containers, where the wine rests on the noble lees for a variable period of about 9 months, at the end of which it is ready for bottling.
Romandus is a red vermouth made with Verduzzo Friulano grapes with an absolutely innovative and original label. It was born from a marriage between our company and the "Liquoreria Friulana Opificium", coming from the desire to enhance a sweet wine of great quality, the Verduzzo Friulano. It was born to be a product with an intense, balsamic structure, but equally delicate as regards the aromatic profile.
