THE HARVEST DAY From 22nd August until 25 th October 2020

Program:
Arrival around 10.30 am: Meet at the Winery Estate for a welcome with a special personal breakfast bag.
“Preparation for Harvest" around 11 am and Departure to the vineyards where you can attend
and/or participate in the harvest and traditional grape stomping! Next, we guide you through a step-by-
step explanation of the stages of harvest followed by a grape tasting with the Estate Owner, Milena Pepe, and/or
winery technicians.
Stroll through the old vineyards and olive groves where there will be an explanation of our territory.
Arrival to the top of the hill for the Experience “Grape stomping” with your bare feet in wooden barrels,
like we did in ancient times (to be confirmed according to the anti-covid measures in the coming months) and “Drink
a Toast and Enjoy a Snack in the vineyard" with our Oro Spumante and typical rustic cake.

Lunch around 13.00 at the Estate’s Restaurant: “Menu Contadino” of 4 courses with Wine tasting of
the Tenuta Cavalier Pepe's wines:
- “Santa Vara” Selezione Irpinia Falanghina doc;
- “Brancato” Selezione di Fiano di Avellino docg
- “Terra del Varo” Irpinia Aglianico doc;
- “Opera Mia” Taurasi docg.
- “Cerri Merry”
Special diets can be accommodated.
During the wine tasting, on request, children can participate in an educational lab and a marmalade blind tasting.
Afternoon: winery tour with an explanation of the vinification process.
The activities will end around 16.30
The cost is 50 euro per adults and 30 euro per child that eat all the menu for children and 20 euro Children that
eat 1 pasta and 1 dessert. Free for children that doesn’t eat at the restaurant.
We accept small and medium side pets.
Your safety is important to us! Here is an explanation of the new security protocol:
- Before arrival: Mandatory reservations to include name, residential address and telephone number.
- On Arrival: We will monitor your temperature. We ask you wear a mask which is required to be worn inside with
the exception of when you are having lunch or wine tasting.
- Sanitizer: At each entrance we have provided a hand sanitizer dispenser.

- The welcome: each guest will receive their own personal backpack with a croissant, fruit juice and bottle of
water.
- The staff of the estate will be equipped with gloves and masks and have been trained in safety protocol.
- Organization: Visits and wine tastings will be held in the open air, in spacious rooms or on the veranda with
separate tables and spaced seating.
- The rooms and furnishings will be sanitized prior to each use, in full compliance with the anti-contagion regulations
concerning Covid-19.
- It is advised to wear practical clothing and comfortable shoes.

The Winery is open daily for visits: Monday to Friday (10 am – 6 pm) Weekends (Saturday and Sunday from 10 am
to 1 am and from 3 pm to 6 pm)
Getting to the winery: We recommended taking the A16 Napoli-Bari motorway. Exit at Benevento/Castel del Lago
and continue towards Taurasi (13 kilometres) and then towards Luogosano (3 kilometres).
