Madonnabruna
Falerio Dei Colli Ascolani (DOC)
Rosso Piceno (DOC)
The agricultural firm Madonnabruna cultivates its vineyards in the sweet hills around Fermo, behind the Adriatic sea, in the Region Marche, at an altitude between 100 and 300 metres from the sea level. The sea breezes that caress the vineyards, the mild climate and the fertile grounds make our hills the ideal place for the cultivation of the grapevine. Our vineyards are raised with the technique of the Cordone speronato and the limited production is due to careful reduction of the buds and fruits. (During the pruning, buds are strongly reduced, allowing the control of the production and permitting an excellent ripening of the grapes) All the field of the firm are cultivated following production methods that join the CEE regulation for low environmental impact (F 1). In our farm we cultivate vines of the varieties Montepulciano, Sangiovese, Passerina and Pecorino that are the history of this territory enology. In our very new wine cellar we transform grapes exclusively of our production. The process of creation of the wines is achieved according to the most modern techniques, with all the recent technologies and using the low temperature in several moment of the process. Moreover, we very carefully follow the phases of the maturation of the wines that, for red wines, takes place in small oak barrels in a special cellar, at constant and controlled temperature.
