Description

Founded in 1968 by Angelo Pittaro, who had inherited from his father Romano that special passion for producing good wine, the Cellar is now run by the third generation of "Pitars", which keeps alive the family tradition with professionalism and dedication. The winery has about 150 hectares of vineyard, located in the Grave del Friuli area between the province of Udine and Pordenone: an arid and stony land producing high quality grapes that loving care and the experience passed down for generations turn into wines of great value. Every year Pitars wine wins important awards in the most important international wine competitions. The last one was the Gold Medal at the Concours Mondial du Sauvignon won by Sauvignon
