Tenuta Roveglia
Lugana (DOC)
San Martino Della Battaglia (DOC)
In an area heralded for its wine two thousand years ago by Catullo, the Roman poet, and recognized as premier cru of Lugana, stand the 17th century walls of Tenuta Roveglia. Tenuta Roveglia's vineyards, located on the southern shores of Lake Garda, benefit from the combination of a unique microclimate - generous exposure to the sun and limited variation in temperature - and rich clay soil. The climate, location and soil create excellent conditions for the maturation of the grapes, which develop an extraordinarily rich bouquet and aroma. Tenuta Roveglia is well known for the care and love it puts into the cultivation of its vines, which results in grapes of the highest quality. Our production is highly selective: after manual harvesting, the grapes undergo a soft pressing and a controlled fermentation in order to obtain the best aroma and flavour. The wines of Tenuta Roveglia are born out of this long-standing tradition and care.
From Autostrada A4 take the exit for "Sirmione". Head left in the direction of "Pozzolengo"; just before entering the village, at the intersection, turn left and after 300m, take another left in the direction of Sirmione. You should pass through "Pirenei", then down a hill - the vinyard is just before the overpass.
