Description

Terracruda Winery is in Fratte Rosa, a small village between the mountains and the sea. This territory is a crossroads for the production of quality wines. The company chose to valorise local grape varieties, it produces three Doc wines, Bianchello del Metauro, Colli Pesaresi Sangiovese, Pergola, and it recovered ancient local grape varieties such as Incrocio Bruni 54, Garofanata e Famoso. The technologies for cultivation are not noxoius, the grapes are carefully selected and harvested by hand, in full respect of the land. Terracruda winery is a young company created by the union of ideas of three members, who believed in the potential of the territory. The project starts in 2000, with the acquisition of more than 20 hectares of vineyards, of which 10 are already planted with grapes, and 10 other replanted with local varieties, in particular Aleatico grapes, used for the production of Doc Pergola. The activity is expressed in 2005 when it began making wine internally in a new and technologically advanced structure. Terracruda has recently renovated an old farmhouse to convert it into a Bed & Breakfast with swimming pool, and tasting room.
