Artimino Spa
Tenuta di Artimino is in Carmginano Docg area, in the heart of Tuscany, not far from Florence. This ancient estate feeds his roots in the old Medicean history and it consists of 732 hectare, 80 of them are intended for vineyards as Sangiovese and others noble grapes. The winery produces two different appellations of wine with a long history and tradition: Carmignano Docg and Chianti Docg. The wine tradition starts with Etruscan age and thanks to Medici family this noble art of winemaking in Artimino has continued for centuries. As a matter of fact, Cosimo III promulgated in 1716 the most ancient edict in the world about winemaking, mentioning among the most important wines of this period also the Carmignano wines. Nowadays Tenuta di Artimino is a place where you can find peace and wellness, thanks to a real full immersion in the countryside.
