The Ritter de Zahony Estate is located in Monastero di Aquileia next to the Paleochristian Museum. The remains of the greatness of the Imperial city can also be seen in the Archaeological Museum of Aquileia, about 2km from the Tenuta di Monastero.
The most important sites of the imperial city can be reached by foot from the estate: among them the Basilica of Santa Maria Assunta, with mosaics that tell stories from the Testament, the Crypt of the Frescoes and that of the Excavations. In addition to this the possibility of seeing the old Roman Forum, the Necropolis, and the river port of Natissa.
