We are in the heart of Sardinia precisely in Atzara. Famiglia Demelas was born with the 2019 harvest with the aim of making the native Sardinian vines contemporary and elegant. We produce two DOC Mandrolisai, the flagship of the company, from two vineyards different in age and training system: Giuàle (our top of the range), and Domo (the 2020 vintage was recognized in the 5StarWines competition of Vinitaly 2023 with 95 points: best red wine from Sardinia and among the 6 best Italian red wines). But we also produce Giogu, a Cannonau di Sardegna DOC from old vineyards, which is very youthful in the glass, and Frore, a white from black grapes unique in Sardinia (at least 6 native varieties). We are the first company in Mandrolisai to be part of MTV; what we do is make the territory accessible to wine tourists, also with the creation of new spaces, which until now were "simply" countryside. Having belonged to this territory for generations, maintaining the link with the native vines, we wanted to express harmonious, welcoming wines like this land, which is home for us, and which we offer you with our warm family hospitality. From Cagliari: traveling along SS131 towards Oristano, take the right onto SP68 with signs for Marrubiu-Terralba; continuing for 57 km, following SP33 crossing the towns of Allai and Samugheo, and with SP61, 1 km from Atzara, turn right twice onto the agricultural road. From Sassari or Olbia: Take SS131 or 131DCN, turn towards Ghilarza and take in order: SP15(Sorradile)-SP31-SP76-SP68; with the SP61, 1 km from Atzara, turn right twice onto the agricultural road.
