The Castello stands right in the heart of Roncade, a picturesque small town in the Venetian inland. With its pre-Palladian Villa surrounded by medieval walls, it is a majestic Renaissance complex dated back to the 1508. The long-standing agricultural tradition of Veneto is still kept in high esteem at Castello, in particular with 110 hectares of vineyards where some excellent wines are produced. At the end of the XIX century the Castello was sold to the Ciani Bassetti family, who is still today the owner of the entire property. The estate, home to some of the most interesting crus in the area around Treviso, has enhanced the family’s passion for viticulture and winemaking as well as the ambition to craft high quality wines.
