The Martelli winery has a past made up of many steps taken over time which today have made the birth of our company possible. It all began with Ettore Martelli, farmer for Baron De Lellis who, from Mantua, moved to a small village in Abruzzo: RipaTteatina. The farmer decided to start his own business and bought the land which, over time, has been inherited by the new generations. It was my great-grandfather Martelli Ulisse, son of Martelli Ettore, who founded the family farm; now more than 90 years ago. Thus was born the passion for wine, but above all the passion for nature developed which today gives us the possibility of producing a refined product rich in perfumes. Later it was my grandfather Martelli Lelio and my grandmother Maria Angelucci who carried on the family tradition and passed it on to my father Franco and my uncle Maurizio.
