Tenute Rubino
Brindisi (DOC)
Primitivo Di Manduria (DOC)
Puglia (IGT)
Tenute Rubino’s roots date back to the 1980s when Tommaso Rubino, an avid supporter of Apulia’s viticultural and oenological potential, created a foundation for production divided between five estates. The goal was to express the best of local viticulture through hand-crafted wines showcasing Puglia’s native varieties, including Primitivo, Negroamaro, and the revival of Susumaniello, which was on the verge of extinction. In 1999, Tommaso teamed up with his son Luigi and daughter-in-law Romina to create the brand Tenute Rubino, based in Puglia’s Brindisi region. Today, the Tenute Rubino winery produces an array of authentic, terroir-driven wines which have revitalized the reputation of Apulian wines across the globe. In March 2022 the company has obtained the Equalitas, Sustainable Organization Module, Certification, the standard that promotes the sustainability culture in the agricultural and viticultural industry on an international basis.
