CANTINE APERTE 2023
24/04/2023 SUNDAY MAY 28th 2023: a perfect day to discover the flavors, scents, traditions of Italian viticulture
This is the must-attend "Cantine Aperte", the very famous food and wine event to be held on Sunday, May 28th, with wine tourists invited to visit wineries and vineyards.
The event will be held in our winery from 10.00 to 18.00.
A little touristic train will guide you to the vineyards. The 60-minute tour will take you to the heart of the Soave Classico up to Monte Fiorentine vineyard, the pearl of the historic vineyards of the Tessari family. You will also visit the Ca' Rugate farm that holds farm animals, ancient fruit trees and the medicinal herbs for the production of Amarone Vermouth.
Every 30 minutes it will be possible to visit in groups the winery and the Enomuseo, . The Enomuseo is the first museum dedicated to wine recognized by the Veneto Region, which proposes the tools for making wine and restored vintage objects, what was once the house with cellar of the founder, Fulvio “Beo” Tessari.
A talented caricaturist will populate the cloister of the winery, who will give value to the glances of visitors present, immortalizing them on special scrolls as souvenir of the day and a theatrical DJ will create a special atmosphere, with some good music.
At the end of the tour, visitors will be able to taste Ca' rugate wines. Inside the winery's cloister you will find the famous 616N Truck Food, which will delight even the most discerning palates with its signature dishes.
Finally, the famous cherries from Montecchia - Le Golose - will frame this gastronomic moment.
While adults will be able to chat while tasting wines and delicacies, the little ones will be able to have fun on a colorful 7-meters high bouncy castle.
A professional medical breathalyzer will be available free of charge and reserved for those who wish. The theme of responsible drinking is inescapable for any company that cares about the well-being of its territory and those who live there.
Access to the event is by reservation with the following costs :
- Adults: Visit to the winery and Enomuseo 32€
- Children: Visit to the winery and Enomuseum 12€ (children up to 3 years old - free)
- Tour of 60 minutes with Tourist Train in the vineyard Monte Fiorentine and visit to the farm 10€(children up to 3 years old - free)
Access to Food Truck 616N is free, with these suggestions:
- Corn Dog with beet nachos € 10
- Barbecue beef meatballs € 10
- Stuffed potato with sun-dried cherry tomato and oregano cream € 12
- Mediterranean style octopus with hint of citrus € 15
- Chicken nuggets with garden vegetables and red devil beans € 15
IN CASE OF BAD WEATHER THE EVENT WILL BE POSTPONED TO SUNDAY, JUNE 4th WITH THE SAME PROGRAM.
