Description

Sant'Isidoro Winery The restoration of an old stately home in the Macerata hills and the magnificent exposure of its estate were the inspiration behind the birth of the Sant'Isidori winery. The winery is launching itself onto the national wine growing scene for the same excellent reasons that led to the building of the residence from which the cellar inherits its name. The vineyards, that all lie within the Corridonia town council perimeter, are spread over thirteen hectares whose soil is characterized by argillaceous limestone particularly suited for the production of an extremely high quality and healthy product. The grapes grown here are selected according to local historical traditions and they are enriched with the international cultivars that best adapt to the exposure of the vineyards and their soil characteristics. All the picking and wine-making takes place in respect of and by selecting the most orthodox wine growing and enological tenets possible, without any room being allowed for hasty thinking.
