Cantina Frentana was founded in 1958 and was the second to be born in Abruzzo, Italy thanks to the tireless work of Mr. D'Agostino, country doctor, who knew how to unite and drive the area's winemakers. The frentanian hills overlooks the Adriatic Sea and will stretch up to the slopes of the Majella. The particular geographical position, exposed to the mountain breezes and mitigante effect of the sea, creates a temperate climate, with high diurnal temperature range, ideal for the needs of the vine. Modern winemaking are harmoniously entered in a historical and architectural context, represented by a Wine Tower, recently renovated and equipped with an elegant experiential room at its top, which makes a company unique and original. The grapes, make wine from more than 400 partners, after careful selection, are processed with the latest winemaking methods. For some wines follows a maturation in oak barrels and barriques and bottle ageing to create unique products.
