Cascina Piano
Situated on the renowned shores of Lake Maggiore in Lombardy, between the towns of Angera and Ranco, Cascina Piano is now a recognized point of reference for the quality of its production of "Ronchi Varesini" IGT wines. Founded in 2003, Cascina Piano has set itself as the forerunner of the Ronchi Varesini IGT certification, focusing its mission on quality, experimentation and a deep connection with the land of the "Ronchi Varesini" and "Lago Maggiore". The quality ambitiously pursued by the company is the synthesis of territory, research, innovation and development. The standards are regulated by '"IGT Ronchi Varesini" with a continuous tension toward improvement to guarantee a constantly high level of product. Cascina Piano chooses and pursues the enhancement of indigenous grape varieties, reproducing varieties partly abandoned and the selection of new varieties to be included in IGT. In the vineyard and winery, Cascina Piano draws on the advice of "Ampelidea" that guide the use of new techniques of cultivation and winemaking.
